Bank of India Officers’ Association (Mumbai & Goa) having a membership of around 2800+ with an excellent synergy of both Youth and Experience. We take pride in saying that with a strong and visionary leadership, sacrifice and relentless efforts of our illustrious leaders, we have been able to build an association with high moral values and ethics. We are following in the footsteps of our great leaders and continue to march ahead with utmost unity and solidarity. We are aware of rapid technological changes taking place in the banking industry. The association has been helping members to adapt themselves to such changes by organizing spherical classes to update and upgrade their knowledge so that they are better equipped to provide best customer service at branch level. The Association has been encouraging members for enrichment of skill through the medium of informative publications, useful for officers in the conduct of their day to day work. Busy Banker Book has brought out by the association from time to time.

Keeping in view the requirement of our members at different junctures your association has been arranging coaching classes for the members appearing for promotions. These classes have been of immense help to our colleagues and have been appreciated by our members at large. Considering the change in membership profile, the need for cadre development has assumed significant importance. The process of education and developing a team of new officers to lead and guide the membership at large and carry the baton of this great movement forward is underway. We are proud to inform you that the enthusiasm and commitment of the new officers’ has assured us that the movement is in to
safe hands.

Another dimension of the diversified activities of the association has been organizing Health Check-up camps, blood donation camps, arranging seminars on topic of “Lifestyle Management & Stress Management” in coordination with specialists in the field. We also provide our members with all the possible help during medical emergencies like getting admission to the hospital, liasoning with eminent doctors, acquisition of blood etc. We are also operating a benevolent
scheme for the benefit of Officer Fraternity.

Your organization provides guest house facility at CBD Belapur & Andheri at very nominal rates for officers coming to Mumbai. Your organization is fully aware of its obligation towards society. Various social services have been taken up by us from time to time. With the objective of imparting education to the needy and poor, we have adopted primary school in tribal village at Wakhadpada. The children of this school are given education aid such as school- books, uniforms, school bags, shoes, umbrellas on a continuing basis since 1992. Through the efforts of Association, School has been provided with solar panel kits under the CSR scheme of our Bank so that children could enjoy the benefits of solar electricity. This year we intend to complete the facility of providing toilet for the school children, which is recently sanctioned under CSR and the work is under process.
